Georgia CB/WR Mitchell Out Against Buffalo

Bulldog’s Cornerback/Wide Receiver Malcolm Mitchell will miss Saturday Night’s Game against Buffalo after spraining his ankle during practice yesterday. Mitchell, who was going to experiment as a two-way player due to suspension, was a Freshman All-SEC player in 2011 after catching 45 passes for 665 yards. Mitchell, who was asked to also play dual positions after Senior Defensive Back Sanders Cumming was given a two-game suspension, was expected to start at Cornerback alongside Senior Branden Smith this weekend. With the injury of Mitchell, the Bulldog’s Coaching Staff expects redshirt freshman Devin Bowman and sophomore Damian Swann to share reps at Mitchell’s Cornerback position.
